Recognizing that such a program will enhance career opportunities in government service, law practice, and the private sector, the Askew School of Public Administration and Policy and College of Law have a joint degree program. It allows graduate students to receive both the JD degree and a concurrent MPA degree through a total of 112 semester hours of course credit. Of these, 79 hours are in the College of Law and 33 in the Department, with 9 hours of cross-credit applying to each degree.
