Askew School Ranked Among Elite Public Affairs Programs in USA

The latest US News and World Report Rankings on Schools of Public Affairs and Administration were published in April (2009).

In the 2008 rankings, among all the Graduate programs in Public Affairs and Administration, the Askew School ranked number 27th (tied with Georgia State University , University of Nebraska at Omaha, University of Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech University ), down one place from 2004 in which we ranked 26th . But in the three specialty areas, our ranking moved up. The most dramatic climb was in the Public Management category in which we are now ranked 11th nationally, up from 16th in 2004. In Public Finance and Budgeting, we ranked 25th (up from 26th in 2004) and tied with the University of Pennsylvania , and in City Management and Urban Policy, we ranked 16th (up from 24th in 2004).
